The average student faces countless experiences, challenges, and pressures, but nothing is as daunting as dealing with exhausting bureaucracy.
“NoReply” is a three episode short videocast offering a cynical, humorous survival guide for students dealing with bureaucratic struggles: from the chaos of course registration, to shady election procedures, to unclear academic guidelines during wartime. The project was born out of the frustration shared by myself and my teammates when facing rigid bureaucracy, especially following the merger of our school with the University of Haifa, and the realization that this struggle is collective to both students and faculty.
Through humor, sharp commentary, a playful visual language, and references to pop culture alongside relatable academic situations, we created a project that critiques the difficulties students have faced, and continue to face, after the merger, while maintaining a light, effortless tone.
**As it mentioned in the project information, it was a collaborated work between 3 designers, but each one animated different episode. The style frames you’ll see are from my animated episode, episode 1.
